Shrimp & Grits is as Southern as sweet tea and just as divisive—just about everyone has an opinion on the best way to make both. In this hands-on class at Greenville Tech’s new Truist Culinary & Hospitality Innovation Center, you’ll learn essential techniques for making the dish your own. Join Chef Bill Twaler in the CHI kitchen as you prepare a brunch focused on balancing flavors and showcasing incredible ingredients like heirloom grits and wild-caught shrimp.

Dress Code for In Southern Style:

  • Closed-toe non-slip shoes
  • Appropriate attire includes long pants and clothing that is neither flammable nor excessively loose
  • Participants should be able to stand for an extended period of time
  • Aprons will be provided for use during class
