We have some very exciting news, as for the first time in the history of Fluor Field and the Greenville Drive, we have a full-time Executive Chef now on staff – Wilbert Sauceda. Chef Sauceda brings impeccable credentials to the Drive, having been trained under Chef Michelle Bernstein of the Food Network’s “Top Chef”. Nationally, Chef Sauceda has been part of the Los Angeles Food & Wine Festival and the Miami Food & Wine Festival and travel to different country’s to learn and inhale the flavors of those, He and his family moved to Greenville 6 years ago, and before joining the Drive he was with Rick Erwin’s West End Grille, The Lazy Goat, and most recently, Husk.
In 2019, the Drive further elevated their events capabilities and food and beverage expertise by hiring Wilbert Sauceda as the Executive Chef for both Drive gameday events and West End Events at Fluor Field. Wilbert is an accomplished Honduran-born chef. Wilbert thrives on creating fresh, incredible meals perfect for Drive gameday events as well as higher-end holiday parties, galas, weddings and corporate events.
Since his arrival at Fluor Field, Chef Wilbert has added his personal touch to every aspect of the food and beverage experience including building and supporting staff morale, updating and enhancing menu design and food offerings, and building relationships and trust with clients. It’s safe to say that with the addition of Chef Wilbert to the Drive and West End Events staff, nobody can match the level of quality and efficiency provided by both Fluor Field and the West End Events Staff.
