Once again, the music lineup at euphoria 2024 provides festival goers with lots of options. Between Thursday night’s opening with the sold-out Songwriter’s Recipe (if you were fortunate enough to get tickets, this is a wonderful showcase) to Sunday Supper, also sold out, with The Brooks Dixon Band, there’s a lot of music at several venues you can go to all weekend.
Some more of the weekend’s musical highlights include Steel Toe Stiletto Friday from 7-10 pm at Fluor Field for euphoria’s Party in the Park. This is a high-end party band that will make the three-hour show fly by while you enjoy some of the many other things going on all around Fluor Field. Showcasing some of the Upstate’s premier musicians, Steel Toe Stiletto never fails to get the crowd going, playing amazing covers of hit after hit.
From elegant jazz to funky soul, The Jamie Wright Band does it all on Saturday at Urban Wren, 116 N. Markley St., beginning at 6:30 pm. All their music is great, but I have to say their covers of Aretha Franklin songs are pretty amazing. The band is a collection of Greenville’s finest, including Tez Sherard on drums and vocals.
Rad Dad, playing the Feast by the Field (at Fluor Field, again) from 11-3 on Sunday, is a self-professed group of “dads who love to rock out.” Their music is quite varied, covering tunes from the ‘60s through the present. They should be a lot of fun, in the midst of all the food, wine, beer, cocktails, and more from Greenville-area restaurants and a wide range of other vendors at the venue.
There’s a lot to taste and hear, so make plans to attend some of these euphoria events from September 19-22. More information at euphoriagreenville.com.
