Chef Justin began his culinary journey at just 16, gaining hands-on experience in restaurant kitchens in Newport News, Virginia. After graduating from Johnson & Wales University in 2012, he built an impressive resume working with several prestigious establishments, including The Capital Grille. He also played a key role in the opening of Eddie V’s in Charlotte and further refined his craft in the dynamic kitchen at Cooks & Soldiers in Atlanta. Each of these experiences has shaped his approach to cuisine, one that celebrates fresh ingredients, bold flavors, and thoughtful execution.
Justin joined our team in 2021 as Executive Sous Chef at the Ocean Course and has served as Chef de Cuisine for the past two years. During that time, he has consistently demonstrated strong leadership, creativity, and a commitment to excellence. His ability to blend technical skill with a deep respect for coastal ingredients and seafood traditions has elevated the dining experience for our guests and strengthened our culinary program.
