Lee Mayfield

Ferrol Lee Mayfield is the co-founder of Murrell’s Row Spirits in Decatur, Georgia. A bartender for more than 25 years before becoming a distiller, he approaches spirit production through the lens of hospitality, creating products designed to perform behind the bar while telling a story in the bottle. Deeply fascinated by aroma, memory, and the olfactory arts, he draws inspiration from perfumery, food, and travel. Alongside product development, he intentionally leads the creative direction and brand identity of Murrell’s Row, believing every detail—from the liquid to the label—should reflect a cohesive point of view. His work has helped establish Murrell’s Row as an award-winning craft distillery recognized for its distinctive gin and amaro portfolio.
