Mariah Brayboy is the Chef at Augusta Street Market in Greenville, SC, where she oversees the kitchen and brings steady hands to one of the city’s busiest grills. Known for her ability to run service with precision and calm, she keeps tickets flying while contributing fresh ideas and new menu items to the Market’s offerings. Before joining Augusta Street Market, Mariah became the youngest kitchen manager in Sidewall Pizza Company’s history at just 19 years old — a milestone that showcased her leadership and passion for the craft early in her career.
At Augusta Street Market, Mariah helps coordinate a kitchen built on artisan methods — from roasting and smoking sandwich meats to baking fresh breads daily. Outside the kitchen, Mariah enjoys spending time with her dog, Skyler, and exploring new restaurants. She has a love for cars, traveling, and drawing, and is also a talented tattoo artist. With much of her family rooted in the Upstate, she values both the culinary and personal connections that Greenville continues to give her.
