Celebrate the power and perspective of women in food and wine at The Modern Matriarchy Dinner, an inspiring evening at Camino Wine Merchant that embodies the spirit of her pour, her plate, her place.
Featuring Chef Ashley Bundrick of Lula Drake in Columbia, SC, recipient of the 2024 James Beard Foundation Award for Outstanding Wine and Other Beverages Program, this experience showcases thoughtful, ingredient-driven cuisine paired with exceptional wines selected and presented by Bree Stock, Master Sommelier and winemaker of LTD Addition. Each course reflects a distinct voice and vision, where what’s in the glass and on the plate is shaped by the women behind it.
With Bree’s dual expertise in both winemaking and wine education, each pairing offers deeper insight into the connection between vineyard and plate, while also exploring the shifting landscape of the Willamette Valley, where evolving climate, site expression, and regenerative practices are redefining the region’s wines.
Set in Camino’s intimate and wine-focused setting, The Modern Matriarchy Dinner is a celebration of creativity, craftsmanship, and the idea that every pour, every plate, and every place at the table tells a story.
