Cima Mathur is the owner of Persis Biryani Indian Grill, where she brings the rich, authentic flavors of South India to Greenville. Rooted in the rich culinary traditions of Hyderabad, her passion for cooking was born in her childhood kitchen, inspired by her mother’s deep love for feeding others and creating joy through food.
She’s never afraid to use spices and believes that food should be both soulful and unforgettable. Today, Cima continues that legacy with every dish she serves—rooted in tradition, bold in spice, and full of heart. It’s no surprise she’s come to be known as Greenville’s Spice Girl.
