Chef Danielle Grigorian is a New York Native with deep connection to her Armenian roots. As a former interior designer, she carries her eye for design into her passion of culinary exploration. Inspired by family recipes and cooking traditions, she honed her craft at the International Culinary Center, now known as the Institute of Culinary Education in New York City. In 2017, she relocated to Greenville, SC and began working as a line cook. She quickly moved her way through the ranks to executive sous chef before becoming Jianna’s first Chef de Cuisine (CDC), leading the kitchen with excellence and creativity.

Chef Danielle’s strong appreciation for her family’s heritage and culinary traditions, and her passions for design and creativity have led her to open The Black Sheep, a true combination of her passions on display. She is known for crafting dishes that connect her family tradition with innovative culinary techniques, creating memorable experiences for each guest.
