Chef Nadav Greenberg is a Jerusalem-born chef known for his market-driven, Mediterranean and Israeli-inspired cuisine. In 2022, he became executive chef of Shmoné, the Greenwich Village restaurant created by Eyal Shani, which helped the concept earn a Michelin star in 2023. His cooking blends influences from his Moroccan and Romanian heritage with modern techniques. Prior to Shmoné, Nadav collaborated with Shani, joining the team to open North Miznon on Manhattan’s Upper West Side in 2019.
Currently, Nadav is the Chef and Partner of Or’esh—a Mediterranean and Levantine-inspired restaurant in SoHo, under Catch Hospitality Group. His heritage and experience shape the menu that’s rooted in an honest, ingredient-driven philosophy, showcasing minimalist compositions, bold flavors, and peak-season ingredients. Named for light and fire, Or’esh is anchored by a coal-fired kitchen and custom charcoal grill, where intentional simplicity allows each ingredient to shine, continuing his culinary philosophy which emphasizes simplicity, seasonal ingredients, and the stories behind each dish.
