Neil Winter has worked in the specialty food and beverage industry for 15 years, a career born out of a passion for cheese that grew to a love for all things fermented and delicious. After studying under cheesemakers from Vermont and Wisconsin as well as taking courses at the University of Wisconsin’s Center for Dairy Research, Neil completed the American Cheese Society’s Certified Cheese Professional program in 2014. Since relocating to Greenville in 2019 from Portland, Oregon, he has worked to help curate the cheeses for The Community Tap’s retail and tasting selections as well launch Tap’s monthly cheese club, Cultured, develop their draft spritz program, and preach the gospel of German and Austrian wine to any and all who will listen.
