With over 17 years of experience, Executive Chef Austyn McGroarty joins the Curean team to head up the culinary department behind the newly opened Mediterranean small plate restaurant. Born and raised in Travelers Rest, SC, Chef Austyn started his career in high school working in fast food restaurants and slowly made his way into the fine dining restaurant scene picking up tricks of the trade on his way. Working under some of the best chefs in Greenville, Chef Austyn was equipped to lead the helm of newly opened Curean. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his children.
