Jason McCarthy is a native of Greenville, SC. After receiving his culinary degree from Johnson & Wales University in Charleston, SC, he cooked his way through England and later worked for a Master Chef of France in Richmond, VA. His move back to Greenville landed him with the Rick Erwin Dining Group’s first restaurant, Rick Erwin’s West End Grill, in 2005 where he honed his skills, working his way up from Sous Chef to Executive Chef in a few short years. Jason now serves as the Corporate Chef, and partner, of the Rick Erwin Dining Group’s six restaurants and his passion lies in creating the most memorable experience in the Upstate. Chef Jason is an integral part of developing innovative menus, managing diverse kitchen teams and ensuring exceptional food quality across all six restaurants.
