Participating In: In the Stars: A Michelin-starred Dinner

Returning to his hometown, Greenville, South Carolina, Joe Cash is the Owner and Founding Chef of Scoundrel.

Cash has spent years working in the world’s top kitchens such as James Beard award-winning chef and restaurateur Thomas Keller’s acclaimed 3-Michelin star and New York Times four-star Per Se in Columbus Circle of New York City, as well as Chef Rene Redzepi’s 2-Michelin star Noma in Copenhagen, Denmark, which famously held the position of number one restaurant in the world for multiple years.

In 2014, upon leaving Denmark, Cash headed back to New York to become the Executive Sous Chef at hospitality powerhouse Major Food Group’s original spot, Torrisi Italian Specialties. When Major Food Group won the bid to bring new life to the iconic Midtown Manhattan skyscraper, The Seagram Building, Cash was charged to be the Executive Chef at The Pool, Major’s premiere dining destination specializing in seafood with a modern French flair.

In 2019, Cash was invited to Greenville’s highly anticipated food festival, euphoria, as a guest chef at Stella’s Southern Brasserie. Within minutes of the event post going live, his dinner was completely sold out.

Cash currently splits his time between New York and Greenville while bringing Scoundrel to life.
